2001 Air 4.5 for use in waves

Hello,
I can Buy an 4.5 AIR from 2001 for less than 200 EURO :-)
But can I use this sail for sailing in moderate waves (Dutch and Belgian Coast)?
Is this durable enough and won't I be overpowered because I weigh only 58 kgs?

Hi Jo:

The 4.5 Air from 2001 was a real good sail. It is a fairly soft sail so it would be suitable for a lighter weight sailor. This sail is mostly monofilm so it will not be a tough as an all grid sail. It does have rod battens so surf use is no problem.Being a lighter weight sailor you will need to run it with a little bit more downhual tension, but the range is pretty good.
