Steve - rigging my sail a couple of days ago i noticed it was wrinkled around the second batten (from the bottom - the first cambered batten) examination revealed the batten tensioning screw was missing. is repair as simple as procuring a new screw and putting it in, or do i have to take out the whole batten and camber? i didn't want to take out a screw from another batten cause i was worried i wouldn't get it back in . oh, also, if your at the store, i had dropped off a board for curtis to repair, wondered how it was gong. it was a protech z72 and he was doing a nose job on it. thanks a bunch - josh

Hi Josh:

The screw for the batten tensioner is easily replaced. It is just a matter of screwing another bolt in. You do not need to take the tensioner or batten out of the sail. The size you need is 10\24 by 1 3/4. Make sure it is stainless steel. I will have curtis from the retail store E mail you with regards to your board.

Best Regards:
Steve
