For those of you in Texas that might be interested, I will have CrazyFly boards to demo in about a month. I have a boom similare to the Orange for sale on Ebay now. Just search for "carbon boom".

No way. No Crazy fly, and no orange. Not when there are great brands available. Why take a chance on some 12 year old kid designing a piece of junk that's made at a second tier production facility. Windsurfing is a cheap sport compared to others. I'll stick with the big brands.

The Autima brand booms and masts are made in Tiawan in the same factory as other "1st tier" brands, such as Gulftech, MK (which is very popular in the UK http://www.mkwindsurfing.com/index.php), and Orange as well as other well known brands. They have become very popular in California because of the quality of design and the competitive price. It is just like sails, many of them are made in the same loft, just differing designs. As for the boards, they are sold all over the world, and are just now making inroads into the US. If you go to CrazyFly.com and click on the "Shaper" tab, you can read a brief introduction to the board designer and you can email him directly if you want more information.

Those carbon booms look a heck of a lot like my Carbon Windsurfing Hawaii's. I think WH is OEM'ing booms to these folks.
