original wave weight

what's up with the weight of the original wave 2 85 liter - reported as 16.25lbs in windsurfing mag. one of the heaviest boards in the test. do you think they got a heavy one?

i'm interested in the smaller one - the 75 liter board. what do they weigh?

I have not weighed the 2004 Exocet wave boards yet. I know they are not the lightest wave boards you can buy but they sure do hold up. Last year our warranty rate was under 1% for the USA and Canada market. The one sent to the board test was the first one in the country and they are often a bit heavy. I will weight an OW 75 and let you know the result.
